The Art of America

The Art of America by Zen Hatlang, for the third issue of Dustbowl Dreams: Roots and Resistance.

Art is dangerous as it has always been political. The Art of America is written about the violence in America, and highlights the corruption in Tulsa history through referencing the Tulsa Race Riots and the burning of Black Wall Street (Greenwood). It also mentions the hypocrisy of American political sentiments, and how America is powerful when we reunite and rebuild together despite the circumstances.
